I like the interesting colour combination of today’s set – the green and yellow make an interesting contrast, and it was a surprising choice because my customer was a bride! I love how brides are increasingly more willing to experiment with colours and have crazy themed weddings!
So this has got two main designs – hearts, and checks. There are lace details everywhere too!
Hey guys and girls!
Today’s post will be a compilation of 2 Halloween themed nails!
First design is really simple and pretty because it is simple yet has the Halloween spirit !
Love the indigo gradient and layered flakies glitter! There are 2 ghosts and 2 spider webs in total.
A happy ghost, a sad ghost! I love the happy ghost 😀
Sad ghost looks slightly helpless too! XD
Second set here is orange X black themed. This customer did a mix ‘n’ match of different designs and it looks pretty darn awesome I’d say!
There’s the Baroque, embellishment, skull stickers AND my favourite – CAT~~ This cat was modified from the white cat I had on my nails some time ago! Black cats are cute too 😀
There’s also a freehand spider web at the corner :3
Today, I have a set of Halloween nails to share, and it’s so cute! The set is a mix of designs from Nail Max Oct issue, and a Hello Kitty in witch outfit from a reference picture that the customer found online!
Somehow, the pinky has a lot of things going on compared to the rest! There’s a black fortune kitty, with a friendly ghost and some bats! The highlight of this set is the Hello Kitty in witch outfit; the customer just really wanted that on her nails! Then there’s the usual pumpkin, and a friendly ghost with stars! The set is so cute I can’t even!!!
On the thumb, there’s actually a spiral of colors going on, with a haunted castle and some bats. The overall look is just so cute! Love it!! Are your nails ready for Halloween yet?!
Today’s design is a striking print that my customer picked out from one of our Japanese nail art magazines. I just love the colour scheme and how the simple embellishments complement the patterns and allow the design to shine!
I love using the gold heart studs with mini gold studs to form a bow. So pretty!
Halloween is coming soon and today’s set is the first I’ve done!
It’s super adorable unlike most of the sets which are usually dark, orange/purple themed!
My customer picked it out from one of our latest magazines which featured many other Halloween designs!
My favourite nail has to be the pink nail with a ghost! The cute smiley face, bright and happy coloured text makes me feel great!
What’s your favourite nail, and who will you be this Halloween? >:)
Today, I have a really sweet set of nail art to share that a customer picked to have for a friend’s wedding!
There are heart tips, ribbons, daisies, and gold embellishments, basically everything sweet On the thumb, the ribbon has daisies dangling from it, and the nail is framed in gold for the extra glam!
I had an interesting customisation request for Cath Kidston florals, and the customer provided me with reference pictures of a few different abstract floral prints by Cath Kidston. She came ready with a rough plan of what colours and which prints she would like on specific nails, so it was quite a breeze for me to just execute.
She also got a matching pedi done, but with normal polish!
Such a unique colour scheme and pretty prints!
Hi guys! Today i’ll be haring with you a pretty design picked by a bride!
I’d say it’s quite a unique design for bridal nails, but it looks super pretty and dainty at the end!
I love everything about this set! the soft paddle pop-ish gradient in 2 shades and the lace flowers!
The other nails are lined in silver and has a pearl with 4 silver studs, just lovely! 😀
Lastly, she did a classic pedi with matching colours and a floral frame for the big toe, though a different kind of flower~
Today I have a set of customized nail art to share! The customer wanted yakuza-themed nails, and showed me a couple of reference pictures (mainly really impressive yakuza tattoos!)
She decided on two main designs for the thumb, as well as some Japanese characters and sakuras for the rest of the nails!
I did a red gradient with some glitter and Sakura stickers, and a silvery glitter gradient base for the Japanese characters. The designs on the thumbs are based on tattoos, the one on the left taken from Yakuza Moon, and the right from a tattoo artist’ portfolio. I love these a lot! I enjoyed myself doing this set, that I did a bit more research and decided to do Yakuza-themed nails for the upcoming Pink Room Cup!
Jenrine and I were stoked to be serving a few ladies from Benefit Cosmetics who came over to get the “They’re Real” and “Porefessional” sets done. It’s so nice to see ladies being so enthusiastic about their jobs and going OTT with work-related nails!
Jenrine and I actually conceptualised the nail art together after studying the product packaging and promotional artwork for the products, then executed the ideas by working on the nail tips. The “Porefessional” tips were done by Jenrine (she’s great at cartoons) and the “They’re Real” tips were done by me (I love doing tiny details and realistic art),
Our giveaway ends 25 November, so hurry if you’d like to win your own set of gel manicure with Benefit-inspired nail art!
